One day after a thunderstorm, Dustin, feeling depressed from the gloomy weather, just happened to drive past the local Krispy Kreme as the "Hot Now" donut sign pierced the grayness with it's seductive glow. What better way to lift his spirits, Dustin thought, than to fill his veins with 2 days worth of sugar and partially-hydrogenated vegtable oil. As he walked in the store he noticed a fashionable bohemian, who, while waiting for his donuts, was tapping his hands and fingers in an orderly yet improvised manner on the glass countertop, seemingly forming the back beat to "Oops I did it again". It was that defining moment that Dustin knew he had found a special drummer - Ian Kupferberg.
